Measurements are dead on. I have a 5.5 lb Papillion and I got a small. It's a bit long in that it hits her tail but perfect everywhere else so I wouldn't go smaller.

I was VERY pleasantly surprised by the quality of this little dress. I have never bought this brand before but I decided to try since it has free returns. It is SUPER cute and also well made. The size chart is accurate so you can trust that it will fit your baby. Remember: the most important measurement for dog clothes is the chest, not the weight.
