I love this grinder and highly recommend it. The unit is made of brushed stainless steel and has a very solid feel of quality. The handle detaches and it's easy to take with you. The coarseness of the grind can be changed easily. The printed instructions that describe the operation and care of the grinder seem a little wonky, as many translated instructions seem these days, but I could not be happier with the grinder.

AR1:
I have been getting into pour over coffee during the pandemic. One of the first rules of pour over is that you should buy coffee in bean form and grind it yourself. I had an old electric blade grinder lying around, but it is very loud, makes a huge mess, and the resulting grind is very uneven unless it is set to powder level coarseness. I decided to get a manual grinder for these reasons. I also didn't want to spend much money before I knew what I was getting in to.
I had this product for about six weeks, and have been using it multiple times per day. I aim for a grind about the thickness of sea salt, and I'd say it does a pretty good job of that. The coarseness adjustment isn't notched, and I didn't bother reading the instructions, but I have been able to dial it in by trial and error. The grinding action feels fine to me. The resulting coffee tastes pretty good - of course this is totally subjective and depends on every other aspect of the pour over procedure too.
About a week ago, I started experiencing a problem mentioned by several other reviewers. The top of the grinder has a plastic carriage piece that holds the beans and fits into the metal...

SoPasDad: This little manual coffee grinder just arrived and I got to try it out for the first time and I am very impressed. My electric coffee grinder only has one grind setting which is too fine for using with my Keurig, and I have been looking for a little manual coffee grinder like this one to take on my bicycle tours. This is a very good product for taking on the road and when you insist on drinking some great, freshly ground coffee, and it is a great value/bargain. 5 stars.

Topher WcCardle: Grinded up a half ounce of cheap pot with seeds and stems, handled it with ease. The long handle provides plenty of leverage. It has 2 different grinding modes, fine or coarse, I like the coarse for smoking, it burns slower. This is a great grinder especially for the price. I have a small metal grinder and sometimes you need an extreme grip if you try to grind too much at once. This new one with the long handle. handled a half ounce with an old man doing it, all at once, with ease! I highly recommend this grinder, even if it was $20.

Scott: Got this for the rest, who inwhich finds themselves accidentally buying coffee beans instead of ground, because the bags looked identical. It does grind up the beans (not completely refined) but you can always run it through the top again. Overall not too bad, the lever seems to slip up and down on the notch a bit,( which makes grinding a little awkward feeling) but gets the job done. I now understand better why people do this, not only do I suprisingly find it taste better, but the novelty of grinding, brings people this “ culinary frontier feeling” like their getting back in touch to their roots or something. Once again, this I feel is a” on the spot” item( but not completely disposable),however I’m not sure if it would make the “long haul” of years to come; be expected to spend more if you really want to take this seriously.
