The Tech Guy: This Adicop kids protective gear set provides decent protection for our grandson but it fits small and our grandson doesn't really like wearing the pads.

Our grandson is 4 years old. He is a bigger kid for his age but these pads barely fit him. We sent them back and ordered a larger set from a different brand and style. it's hard to imagine these pads fitting an 8 year old.

Overall these pads provide a decent amount of protection if you can get your kid to wear them. They fit on the small side and probably would only fit 3-6 year olds at most. If you're child is on the larger size I'd recommend finding another pad set that cam be ordered in Medium or Large.

One of the pads looks like they were sewn on crooked though so I will update once she gets some use out of them. I wasn’t really expecting much though being that they were only $15

Elite CustomerElite Customer: To start, I'd like to first remind others that the hard shells are made of plastic instead of metal. Not that anywhere in the description says those are metal, but lazy bum like me don't read the text was assuming it's metal. However, we are not disappointed by the plastic shell at all. They are good quality plastic that offers good enough protection yet flexible enough for comfort. The overall build and material is great. I don't see it would break for a long time. The straps and velcro are qood quality which holds firmly but does not cut into skin. We bought this set for our 3 year old. The first impression when I opened the package I thought these are too small, and then I was proven wrong big time... Apparently a 3 year old tiny limbs are still way smaller than this set, especially the hand piece... So right now we are only putting on the knee pads and elbow pads. Those can stay and serves the purpose, especially useful when my son simply drags his knees on the ground when crawling... One detail worth to mention is that the labels actually marks whether it's knee or elbow pad. Good detail.

Only one thing we'd hope this set can be better is that there is no extra layer...

TJ MorrisTJ Morris: I bought these knee and elbow pads for my 4-year-old nephew who is very active. I wasn't sure whether he would like them or find them uncomfortable. When they came, I gave them to him and he absolutely loved them! He likes to run around the house and act like he is Spiderman or Black Panther and wearing these, I don't have to worry about him hurting his knees or elbows. This product is great and I would recommend them to anyone looking for great knee and elbow pads for children.
