Okay so it's made of plastic. At first, I wasn't thrilled when I opened the package. But I quickly changed my mind about it when we got it on top of the tree. Its light so this star was able to stand up straight on top of my tree. Its very pretty and I love it. If you have a lot of blue decorations on your tree, this star is perfect!

Product arrived securely packaged in a heavy padded mailer. I do believe it went through customs based on the vague tracking information.
Regarding the item itself, you definitely get what you pay for with this. As with most of the world, the pandemic has flipped my annual holiday plans upside down and the closest thing to normal was to set up my own tree this year, and do not have the means to set up a real tree.
Anyway, this is definitely cheaply made, the paint is chipped in a few spots but it's not super noticeable unless you get very close. In the future I will probably replace this, but while the budget is tight this will do the trick since it is difficult to find quality, affordable blue/silver/white toppers.
Would I purchase this again? Yes, if I had to stay in this budget I would (paid $9.99). Sturdiness? Not sure it will survive more than a year or two of use. Overall appearance? I am quite pleased with how it looks, though look forward to replacing it with something more solid in the future.

Got this to top the tree in our apartment. I get that it was under $8, but this definitely looks cheap in person. The colors were somewhat scratched off as well. Matches our theme and gets the job done, though.
