They have withstood the weather and not come out of the ground during our sometimes harsh winters in at least 3 winters. I love the design, but it doesn't overwhelm the plant.

J. ButlerJ. Butler: I have mixed feelings. Overall I am very happy with the trellis. It was a good price and was reasonably easy to install. I have a rocky soil, so had a bit of a struggle getting it embedded into the ground. The problem I had was that the bottom would bend if I pushed too hard, and the 4 corners would move, so that when I'd get one into the ground and try to do the others, the one in the ground would keep popping out and I'd have a difficult time getting all 4 into place.
After a couple months, it's filled in nicely. My goal was to collect jasmine that had been growing through bushes and shrubs nearby and direct most of it into this trellis. That's been successful.
There were strong winds this past weekend and it fell over. I stood it back up, but now it's not planted in the ground and i have to find a way to get it back in there. I guess the weight of the jasmine has made it easier to topple over.
I have these 12 inch stake nails that I bought for a different purpose. I feel like maybe I can drive them into the ground and then fix the 4 corners to those nails. Haven't thought about how to to attach it to the nails though (duct tape, wire?). That will be my...

DIYQueen: Really elegant trellises for growing beans in a public gardening space where they are to be on display. You can barely see them without anything growing on them which is visually pleasing.
Out of the three, one did arrive with a broken fleur de lis & had to be fixed with JB Weld + coat of paint. It won't fit in my car, so returning was not an option. Better packaging would help.
Installation is a bit of a chore. There has to be a better way to install & anchor. I might end up pouring concrete to ground them well & prevent movement.

Emma Dickinson: Good for lightweight vines in small spaces, not good for trellising vegetables.
Bought two of these for the cypress vine in the flower garden. Fwiw, cypress vines grow to 8-12', but they're very lightweight plants, i.e. a fraction of the size of morning glories and clematis. Setting these in the ground is a chore with only one person and very easy with two. The legs are springy and want to go in every direction. It took me 15 minutes to get the first one in correctly by myself, and 30 seconds for the second one with a helper. Once in the ground, they stay put. The cypress vine quickly started spiraling up the legs and they're starting to look lovely and abundant. This is exactly what I wanted - a sturdy, inexpensive way to give height to the cypress vine without a large footprint in the garden. If you're looking for something to trellis large vines or vegetables, buy something else. This won't be able to hold the weight. If you only need something for lightweight, smaller vines, then this is a perfect choice.

Art_dude: This trellis has a fairly broad range of motion in the 4 legs which should allow you to easily position it over a 2' to 3' plant - or any smaller size. It is one piece and has no assembly. Just get it positioned and then push the legs down evenly until it feels sturdy. I got it specifically for a well-established clematis and I gently wired vines from the plant to each of the legs. I'll remove the wires once the plant takes hold and I am already looking forward to the coming display of flowers.
