Kay: Remember this is a smartphone from 2014 that someone stretched out into laptop form. I use it for youtube and google docs and that's about it. Trying to simply play videos or view PDFs or move files on this thing is an ordeal every time. Any interaction with the GUI seems to have a 10% failure rate. Would you get into a car where one out of every ten times you pressed the brake it didn't work? Extreme example but sometimes stuff is important and wrestling with tech is the least pleasant thing in the universe.

Amazon Customer: J’ai lu beaucoup de commentaires sur Amazon avant d’acheter ce Chromebook usagé. D’abord, la seule chose qui prouvait qu’il l’était, c’était le compte de l’ancien propriétaire qui était toujours présent, sinon, il est tout à fait comme neuf. Malgré la faible résolution de l’écran (techniquement) , je le trouve superbe, en réalité. Je regarde le hockey et, l’image est impeccable. J’apprécie beaucoup l’écran tactile, qui manque un peu de fluidité mais, à 215$ Ca., je ne veux pas rêver en couleur, c’est une extraordinaire aubaine. C’est mon 2 ième Chromebook et, je n’en démord pas, le système, pour des besoins de base, n’a rien à envier à Apple ou Windows.

Melinda: It arrived in excellent condition, but the screen was poorly cleaned and the down arrow button sticks and sometimes doesn't work. There was protective plastic on the joints, but not the screen?
I have a visual light processing disorder so I turn all my electronics to the lowest brightness 80% of the time I'm using them. I can't use this product at all because the lowest setting is still too bright for my brain so I got migraines while trying to use it. I tried putting an overlay on it but it was still too bright!

I don't love how wide the frame around the screen is, it makes the active screen a lot smaller than I expected. For some reason, I repeatedly get booted out of Disney+ and have to resign in. I know this is a minor issue, but it's annoying and it doesn't happen on any of my other electronics. The price is good, but I expected a bit better of a product, so overall I don't love it.

Ellen: I guess referbished means different to this seller. My batter no longer charges after only 8 months. I'm having a hard time finding a replacement and someone to change it out. I tried different chargers so it must be the battery. Love everything else about it but too soon to have died. I can't find if I purchased the extended warrantee.

Kindle Customer: Liked how simple to set up and begin using. Intuitive interface a joy to use. Easy downloaded manual and zipped through it quickly. Was able to teach my 86 year old mother in law how to use it in under 2 hours; she’s having a blast with it compared to struggling with her ancient Windows computer now replaced with this Acer Chromebook.

Jordan: Generally a good laptop for the price I think. The screen feels a bit fragile for a touchscreen and doesn't quite give a tablet feel, and seems to leave horrid fingerprints more so than a tablet. I ultimately never use this as anything but a laptop, which it serves its purpose.

Snuzzy: This is my third Chromebook. All the rest have died by me dropping them and cracking their screen in some way. Just like all my Chromebooks it has its little eccentricities. I like it. The only thing that annoys the heck out of me is when I'm in bed and I tilt it sideways and the unprotected power button touches the cover, and turns the darn thing off. It's also a bit heavy to hold one handed. But for what I paid, I'm a happy camper.
