This is very hard to find locally and the newer ATF formulations and Dexron III substitutes and " "multi" coverage ATFs like IV,V, and VI are not recommended in power steering units. They have different additives and viscosity evidently. So why not replace the old dirty fluid with the same original stuff that lasted 18 years? Flushed out old fluid easily by taking off the return line on PS reservoir and draining into a clear empty windshield washer fluid jug while plugging male reservoir fitting with foam earplug. I believe I used 5/16" ID tubing to extend the return line from the rack/pump (to the recycle jug), it's "OD" fit perfectly inside the return hose, the other end into the clear recycle jug again. Raise both front wheels off the ground with at least a 1500 lb jack. Secure the jug to the hood hinge so you can see it from the drivers seat while you are turning the wheels lock to lock (engine off) and then you can monitor the fluid level and stay on top of filling the PS reservoir with fresh fluid. Stop when fluid looks new coming from return line....
