AlabAlab: I initially put a postiive review with 5 stars, but yesterday my scale glass SHATTERED by just Kick the side of the scale by accident! SUPER DANGEROUS and the glass flew everywhere like an explosion. Now my entre bathroom flooor has got shards of glass and whats more concerning is imagine this happened if I was standing it. could have cause SERIOUS INJURY! This could have been a faulty product, but still im really concerned. Before this, the scale was working perfectly fine and the app and scale were great. Really shocked. I hope someone from the comapny contact me for an explanation and to fix it.

Ronald EpsteinRonald Epstein: Most of us have owned many, many scales during our lifetime. We went from analog scales to digital to home and health app connected (which is where we are now).
Most likely, if you are looking to purchase a new scale, you will be looking for a digital one. They are just as reliable as the old analog scales with the spinning dial.
If you aren't careful though, you are going to make a HUGE mistake that I made. This mistake caused me to purchase an additional digital scale that should have been my FIRST choice.
You want a digital scale with a WiFi connection. Don't buy one with a connection that is Bluetooth only. I made that mistake last year when I bought a really great digital scale. You can click on my name above and search my reviews for the one I bought.
Last year's scale was great. It was accurate. It connected to its own app as well as Apple's health app. The problem? If my phone was not in range, no information would be sent to it when I stepped on the scale. And I have to tell you, my phone was never in range. Bluetooth connections are pretty bad. They usually range around 30 feet. Bluetooth is also prone to disconnects.

The scale came in its own box, meaning it wasn't packed at all by Amazon. I was worried that there would be damage but was happy to find the scale perfectly unscathed.
Setting up the scale and getting my first data set, including the time to set up the Runcobo app, took 10 minutes.
I'm not sure why, but the password criteria is truncated in the space where you enter your initial password, so you have to guess what it wants. I tried many complicated passwords that did not work. I settled on something simple, which did work. That was the only disappointing thing about setting up (and the thing that took the longest!)
I've used this thing for over a week now and it's relatively consistent. It seems to be so sensitive, that it will notify me in the app that something is substantially different and give me options on what to do (i.e., measure again, ignore, keep). I've only had this occur on body fat, in which a change in only a few decimal points set this thing off.
There's a lot of good information included, but I'll have to do more research to understand what each one really means...
