Philip: The context for the 5 star rating starts with price. One can buy a more robust and heavier pair of scale and pay twice the price, but the Escali Primo scales are accurate, easy to clean, stylish, nicely put together and robust enough for the purpose. That they use AA batteries is a plus, as is paying half the price of my previous scales.

Frederik Vos: Deze weegschaal heb ik aangeschaft omdat de oude veel te traag was bij het meten. Wat zeker bij kleine hoeveelheden, als er nauwkeurig gewerkt moet worden, zeer irritant is.
