Jim and Manja: This was precisely what I needed to run a carpet cleaner using 2 circuits at 1800 watts each outlet! Kinda maybe sorta wish for a longer unit to leave hanging out from behind stove but that could eventually lead to a fire hazard I guess so I understand the short length necessitating removal and non permanent install

Tyhand1: We had a 220V outlet in the garage that wasn't used. I had been debating whether to rewire it or not. Using this, I can now use either 110 or 220V products without any rewiring needed!!
