MR: I had tested those type of litter mats that 'trap' litter inside, but the problem with those is that it's nearly impossible to get the litter out! These mats are smoother, but have ripples/ridges to help keep litter contained. Much more preferred! It is super easy to vacuum these mats as well as lift them and shake them. No complaints whatsoever and would definitely order again if needed.
