Shannon S: This is an ok book about mini pies. Mainly for mini pie machines but can be made in muffin tins. I spent 2.99 for the Kindle version and it was worth that to me. Easy to follow recipes.

Caroline: I am so excited about this cookbook, because I LOVE pie (as does my partner). While I'm happy to eat an entire apple pie (almost by myself!) the idea of having selection of different types of pies without needing to make full sized pies is awesome! Especially when you start to think about savory pies - it becomes actual meals instead of just dessert. Abigail Gehring's book is perfect - adorable, simple, concise and with gorgeously mouth watering pictures of mini pies. I love her 4 different homemade pie crust recipes that you can mix and match with different fillings options. A great buy for anyone who loves baking and loves pies.

So Many Books, So Little Time: Nice little book, great recipe ideas. I have not made a lot out of it yet but will. I made the apple pies - turned out very nice. Made the pumpkin pies and the filling was excellent. The all butter pie crust recipe was a bit a failure but I think it was my doing, not the recipe. Used a food processor and I think I overmixed it as it was tough dough. Tasted okay (so I am told - I'm not a pie eater but hubby is!)

Mema: This is a really great cook book because you can make a variety of small pies and not have the worry about who's going to eat the rest of the pie! Either baking these pies in a countertop mini pie maker or baking your pies in muffin tins (my favourite). These recipes are to make four pies at a time. Sweet, fruity or savoury pies. Quiche recipes and pie crust recipes included.

Anonymous: I bought a BabyCakes Mini Pie Maker for my mom and got this book to go with it after some searching. I couldn't find any other books with directions on how to make mini pies with a mini pie machine, but this book tells recipes and cooking times for both machine and muffin tin pies! I just made my first chicken pot pies with mom, and they turned out perfect! There's great recipes for sweet pies like berry and chocolate and nut pies, but also savory recipes like empanadas, quiches, pot pies, shepherd's pies, and even cracked-egg pies! There's photos to give ideas of what the pies will look like, and they taste pretty great too. This book is an excellent launching point for creative cooks and and lovers of leftovers. Making filling takes a while, but cooking times are incredibly fast so it's a great thing to have for parties and recipes if you make filling ahead of time. Highly recommend!
