gregory: if you get them in one per pack do the two pack when you open it and take one out the other seam to break down a lot faster and some time doesn't work at all

Steven Bonsu Ames: Good replacement for the Pet Tech Batteries. They charge $7 each, which last about 2 months, so in 1 year you will pay more than you did or the collar. They say these batteries will void the warranty, but I have used these for 8 months and have had no issues. These batteries last about the same length of time (~2 months).

kellygirl: These go with the automatic dog door we installed several years ago - I work from home & when we installed it our son lived with us with his two dogs & we had 4 - so we were constantly letting dogs in & our & having trouble with flies & frankly thought our energy bills were suffering. The product has issues though in that the battery pack & batteries have a terrible life - we were continually replacing them. Our son got married & two of our dogs passed away - now that we only have 2 animals - it does much better - so not sure if they drained the battery life out of each other - I still don’t think the batteries have great life as I’ve read other reviews saying similar things & I think the prices are horrendous especially when you have to buy this particular battery & cant use the regular disc battery you buy in a store! But it’s worth it to use not to have to worry about letting the dogs out when we are gone all day.
