Tyesha Hardwick: It would benefit future customers to remove the picture with the aquarium as this item is solely an aquarium stand purchase. Unfortunately, I was under the impression that I was receiving a complete aquarium set, and to my surprise when only the stand arrived. I will add that it has been incredibly difficult to locate the aquarium designed for this stand. What was initially a joyous activity has resulted in me having to hunt down an aquarium that's no longer in mass production and let's not talk about the additional $$$. Please update this listing in order to help the next customer make an informed purchase decision. This is leaning towards false advertisement. I am very disappointed. I found no issue with the assembly and it appears to be sturdy, but there is no aquarium on top for me to make a full assessment. The complete set would have been a value for the money as I found the stand online for much less money. The only reason I didn't send it back was that I was able to locate an aquarium in a warehouse in NJ and this was a time-sensitive gift. So very, very disappointed.

Candice Baker: I bought a paludarium but was having trouble fining a suitable stand to place it on. I came across this stand on Amazon and it was a perfect size and exactly what I was looking for. My boyfriend put it together and it took him about 30 mins, he only complained twice during the process so I consider that a good thing. Problem is, there is not surface top to sit the paludarium on. Good thing I'm crafty and was able to cut a 14X14 inch board and glue it on top.
I would recommend if they had a top surface as an option, to make the stand more universal with other tanks....just a suggestion.

Tonya: This thing was a paint to put together and my husband and I are handy. The hinges have plastic covers and you’re supposed to push them into predrilled holes then tighten with a screwdriver. Didn’t happen. We had to use a hammer to pound the hinges in then there was no way to tighten the screws, even with a drill. They just spin. Then the parts had numerous dents and dings in it, not visible from damage outside on the box. It was also extremely dirty. We would have returned it if we didn’t have the tank coming today and fry to move out of a large tank. There is no top on it so I guess the bottom of the tank covers up the hole. There are only three sides connected so I’m really hoping this holds up the 15 gallon tank, which will be 130 lbs with water and decorations. Very disappointed with the overall product even though it was cheap. If it doesn’t seem like it will hold up, we will make our own stand. We can do a million times better than this piece of junk. Even sitting on a dresser might be better than this. Save your $26. Not even worth that.

Amazon Customer: For the price tag they could at least add a middle shelf to make better use of the space in the cabinet. Also, I thought only IKEA makes cheap stuff...

B. Moore: Being a woodworker, I'm rarely happy with this sort of furniture. I bought it anyway because it was cheaper than I could build it and it matches the aquarium perfectly. After assembling it, I thought it was just too flimsy to trust it with a tank full of water, so I ended up adding a fixed internal shelf to help brace the cabinet and provide a place for storing fish food and other things. I added some solid wood corner braces along the two back corners. I also reinforced the top with a brace across the open front, keeping it below contact with the glass but above where you can see it. The aquarium that goes with this stand has a plastic base with a skirt that hangs down around the stand about an inch or so, centering the aquarium on the stand and covering the gap above the door. Without opening the door, you would never know I had done anything to strengthen my stand. Now I'm sure some brilliant engineer designed this stand to handle the aquarium with no problems, so you may be happy with it as it is. I wasn't. I do prefer real wood, which this isn't, but it is nice enough looking. I used real wood for internal bracing because it's stronger and it holds screws much better than...

Ryan M: I love it looks great. But putting it together was a nightmare. I'm fairly good at assembly but this was terrible. Predrilled holes didn't line up. Hinges didn't snap in until I Bent them , but end product is great.
