A Court of Mist and Fury is the #1 bestselling series in Teen & Young Adult Romance Books. With its great value for money, excellent customer support and easy-to-understand genre and theme, readers are sure to be captivated by this thrilling sequel to A Court of Thorns and Roses. A.D:: I enjoyed the first book so after finishing it I immediately picked up this one and I wasn't disappointed. It's a little long for my liking but I still enjoyed it and could not put it down until I finished it.
the story is a little silly, I wouldn't take any of these books very seriously as they are cheesy, but it's an easy entertaining read.
However, I don't feel like this is a continuation of what happened in the first book but rather a new beginning. The first book now feels like a prequel to me.
A lot of fantasy and a lot of romance. I think it's a slow burn too as it felt like forever until the main couple got together. I would recommend only to people that are looking for exactly that.

Thoughts:
I don’t like Feyre. That was my mindset when I started the book. Feyre was nothing but selfish in “A Court of Thorns and Rose” and oh, did she make my blood boil. And even in this book, I was like that as well…but that’s an explanation for later. Because I truly enjoyed this story! So much that I have a picture of Velaris as my wallpaper on my phone.
I didn’t want to...

Janaína: I recently embarked on a literary adventure like no other, and it left me utterly spellbound. Sarah J. Maas' "A Court of Thorns and Roses," Book 1 of the series, has taken me on an unforgettable journey into a world where fantasy and reality collide in the most breathtaking way possible.
From the very first page, I was drawn into the enchanting realm of Prythian. Maas's vivid and immersive storytelling transported me to a place where magic, danger, and romance intertwine seamlessly. Her world-building is nothing short of awe-inspiring, with each court, be it Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter, or the deadly Night Court, brought to life with meticulous detail and captivating lore.
The characters in this book are nothing short of brilliant. Feyre, our fearless and resourceful protagonist, is a character you can't help but root for. She's a hunter, a survivor, and her transformation throughout the story is both empowering and heart-wrenching. And then there's the enigmatic High Lord of the Night Court, Rhysand, whose charisma and complexity make him one of the most intriguing male leads I've ever encountered in fantasy literature. The relationships, the alliances, and the...

little bookworm: Having survived the terrifying ordeal she went through Under the Mountain, Feyre is now safely returned with Tamlin to the Spring Court. Yet she is unalterably changed, and not just because she is now Fae. Night after night she relives the horrors of what she went through, an emptiness gnawing away at her, guilt at the blood on her hands consuming her. Will Feyre be able to find her way out of the darkness?
I thoroughly enjoyed the first book in the series and was eager to see how the story continued in this one, and was glad to find that I wasn't disappointed. Maas' world-building steps up in this second volume, and where the first was very much a re-telling of Beauty and the Beast, threaded together with this story of the Fae, I thought A Court of Mist and Fury very much had its own identity and lore. That being said, there were still elements of mythology entwined in to Maas' tale, the story this time loosely based on that of Hades and Persephone, and I enjoyed this nod to the Greek myth.
I liked that we got to see much more of Prythian and some of the other Courts, specifically the Night Court, which was depicted so vividly. The scale of the story seemed larger...

Shaunna McLaren: “To the stars who listen– and the dreams that are answered.”
Have you ever read a book that impacts you in a way you can’t even put into words? It ruins you for all other books for a long time afterwards. It leaves you feeling such a wide range of emotions that you find it difficult to put those emotions – and your thoughts – into any sort of order. Have you ever read a book that just resonates with you in a way that you don’t even know how to express?
Well, A Court of Mist and Fury was that book, for me. It’s been two weeks, and I still haven’t read a page of another book. I physically can’t bring myself to do it, because I just cannot stop thinking about this profoundly beautiful story that Sarah J. Maas has created. It’s the only book I’ve ever read in my entire life that I considered reading again the second I’d finished it.
I’ve spent the past fourteen days trying to work out how to put my feelings about this book into words, and I haven’t had a great deal of success. I think, if I was to really do so, and really give this awe-inspiring novel the justice it deserves, then I’d probably end up writing a novel myself… So,...

K: I had this book in my reading list for a while but wasn't sure because there are so many books - but my sister convinced me that I'll want to read all of them. I know some are not yet written and so far I have not been disappointed. It is SO hard to put the books down. I wasn't prepared for the twist in this book, and I'm not disappointed. So in love with Feyre and her 'family'. I won't spoil it for anyone. There is so much thought and depth to these books. To the emotion and the psychology behind how different people deal with hardships and their past in different ways. How the villain and the hero isn't always so clear, that there's more under the surface. So good! Can't wait to see what the third book brings with Feyre and her gifts.
