A Comprehensive Guide to Day Trading for a Living: Learn Trading Tools and Tactics, Money Management, Discipline, and Trading Psychology for Beginners

Terry: I've been long-term investing for a few years and wanted to dive into day trading. As Andrew states in the book, you won't be able to start day trading just by reading books because you need to practice paper trading in a sim account before going live with your real money. With that said this book is a fantastic step in the right direction and, coupled with his next book, Advanced Techniques in Day Trading, you will be well on your way. I purchased other books on day trading, and they really did not teach what you need to know. It wasn't until I was reading reviews for another book that a person had commented that this book was the best one he has found thus far and it really is. Andrew explains in simple terms how to day trade, where to begin, certain types of software to use (unpaid promotions too), strategies with charts to explain his moves, AND he also discusses his failures when he was starting to trade. Also, in this 2022 edition, he includes a full chapter written by one of his members of Bear Bull Traders, to discuss the failures of trading as a new trader, how he overcame the failures, etc. It was a great book and I highly recommend to anyone interested in day trading. Pat: Ich möchte ins Trading einsteigen und hab schon einiges gelesen (Internet), aber so präzise und schonungslos wie in diesem Buch habe ich bisher nichts über den Einstieg ins Daytrading erfahren. PC: Buy it fast and read it slow. The book provide you everything you need to start and manage profitable trades consistently. Well writen, on the point, helps you to develop the right mindset. I wish I read it 20 years ago.

Norwegianblue: Mark Twain once said "It ain't what you don't know that gets you in trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so." I believe these words of wisdom apply to trading, as well as life in general.

After doing some day trading and making a few nice profitable trades here and there, followed by a couple of losses that cut my profits in half, I remembered that quote by Twain and I had to admit to myself that many of the things I thought I knew about trading were wrong. I decided to visit Amazon to find a good introduction to the subject of day trading. There were so many books, most of them looked like they would take me weeks or months to study, and I wasn’t sure if I was prepared to take on that kind of learning curve.
