I expected it to be thin but just keep in mind if you aren't very careful with your jewelry that it is VERY thin. I like how dainty it is and the 20 inch falls just about in the middle of your chest which is what I wanted.

My charm is rather heavy and I did wonder if the chain was too thin but it seems a very strong chain and can easily take the weight . It’s a lovely sparkly chain and for the money paid I’m very happy with it.
Ideal for a gift especially a bridesmaid.
