Addie: The logs light quickly and easily and produce a bright full flame. They do not burn for anywhere near three hours. They barely burn for close to two hours. I am disappointed since they are pricey.

Tramontaner: After resisting using these fake logs for all of my adult life, I finally caved when we bought a house that only had a sheet metal firebox, rather than a proper masonry chimney, that wouldn't be able to withstand a full-on cordwood fire. These logs are uh. May. ZING! They light up right away and burn merrily and steadily with no fuss and no muss. All of the ambiance with none of the complications. I especially appreciate the tidy little ash pile they leave under the andiron once they're done. Also, sincerest of apologies to my wife for not believing her for the past 10 years about how fun these Duraflames can be.
