We found wine and bourbon that we couldn’t get in the US and these sleeves protected the bottles perfectly! Everything arrived intact! Highly recommend.

AR: Good for wine or any drink bottle. Protects from breakage or leakage. But very expensive. The same item in the US cost only a fraction of what it costs here in India

Elizabeth: When you live in a state that won't ship alcohol without a liquor license (ahem, Kansas/Missouri), and you don't trust your best bottles to the mover, you either have one freaking fantastic goodbye party or you buy these, pack wrapped bottles around your clothes in your sturdiest suitcase, and hope for the best. Success - all eight made it back from Kansas City to DC in one piece.
Pro tip - don't go to wine country in the summertime if you don't know where you'll be living in October, when all of the wineries feel it's safest to ship. That's how your stuff winds up in Kansas City (in Dad's linen closet) in the first place. We'll be going back to Healdsburg in July but because we're both too impatient to wait a few months, we'll probably bring some and ship the rest. If unwrapped carefully, WineSkins appear to be reusable. If the adhesive is a little grumpy in a few months, I'll just use packing tape.
I used a 24" Samsonite hard-sided ziplite suitcase with wheels. 8 bottles of wine in a bag that size, packed around clothing and other travel items, weighs a ton and takes up a lot of room. I also don't know if I'd pack an entire suitcase full of wrapped wine bottles -...

CSpott: I was able to bring six bottles of wine home in my checked luggage after a recent trip to Napa with these wine skins. I read the other reviews and used packing tape to seal up the wine skins so I can re-use them. All the wine made it home safely. The outer skin is a thick, heavy duty plastic. The inner skin has a bubble wrap lining. The bubble wrap isn't very thick, but with the double lining and being packed among my clothes, it was fine. If it was thicker, I might not have been able to fit all six bottles in my suitcase. The packing tape I used did leave a sticky residue on the wine skins after I removed it, but otherwise, they are still in perfect shape for reuse. (The packing tape residue did not detract from the overall use of these wine skins, it was my fault for using cheap packing tape, I'll use better packing tape next time.)
Edited to add that I've now traveled several times across the country with these bags have have been able to use them over and over again with packing tape instead of using the seals provided. I have put wine in them, bourbon, and beer. They do work very well.

Nick: Will probably serve the stated purpose adequately, but grossly over-priced for a single-use product.

Kelly: I purchased these before traveling to Europe hoping I could safely bring a few bottles of wine back in my suitcase. I'd had mixed results in the past packing wine bottles between clothes, in boots, etc. and broken wine bottles not only create a huge mess, if its a red, it ruins just about everything else in the suitcase. I used all 8 on my return trip and I have to admit I was skeptical. I fully expected at LEAST one bottle to break in my over-packed suitcases. But I'm happy to report I was dead wrong. They all made it back in one piece.
What I really like about this is not only is the bottle protected by the bubble wrap, but the outer skin is very thick and the bottom of the bag has a very reliable double seal. It seals so well the only way I could open it upon returning home was with a pair of scissors. Even if a bottle did break, the seal would definitely keep any spillage within the plastic and the thick outside would definitely withstand any shards of glass that might scratch against it.
Will buy again.
