The grey and cream design is also sure to be a hit with any parent or grandparent, making it a great giftable item. Shop the Skip Hop Store today and find the perfect playmat for your baby.KSKS: When our little one stared crawling & pulling to stand, we realized our thin rug / carpet pad over our hardwood floors wasn’t going to cut it anymore. All the tumbles she taking were a bit rough. We looked into the ridiculously expensive interlocking mats, but just couldn’t justify the price paid as she would conquer crawling, standing & eventually walking within a few months & the mats wouldn’t be as much of a necessity. Not only are these Skip Hop mats well priced, they’re extremely versatile in the design, match our decor perfectly & definitely soften the blow of falling compared to our other rug! They’re SO easy to clean (wet & dry spills) and have held up to numerous beatings over the last couple weeks we’ve had them! We ordered two sets and were able to achieve (roughly) a 10x8 “area rug” with having a few pieces & many edge pieces left over! We’re thrilled with our purchase!!

Amazon Kunde: We recently bought two of these play mats for our daughter. We have one in each room and we like them a lot. We spent a lot of time on the mats, playing and reading. They are comfortable and easy to clean. We like the option of multiple designs we can create or put the two mats together to make a big play area! Very happy about the purchase!

JL in Markham: We put this mat on our wood floor to create a comfortable play area for our grandson. It looks good when set up and different patterns can be created if you wish. We've been gently folding it in half to put away when not in use. It shows very little sign of wear or damage. In the baby's first year we placed a playpen fence around it. The mat can be easily shifted when setting up and yet, when underfoot, feels secure, planted and comfortable. It's not a exercise mat though if you placed a yoga mat on it, it would be extra comfy.

Amazon Customer: This product would be great if you wanted a square mat. But if you're hoping to assemble a diamond shape (to fit the skip-hop enclosure) the edge pieces provided don't work with the long triangle edges (in an a=b:c isocoles, all edge pieces are a/b size and do not fit the c edge)
The tiles are loose packed in a cardboard box, which is ideal because it enables the plastic to offgas in the warehouse prior to arrival. There was a slight plastic odour, but it was not strong.
Skip hop assured me that this product is formalin/formamide/formaldehyde free, will update review after testing.

Victoria RVictoria R: I bought the grey/cream one to add to the peach/grey one that I was gifted. It started to get crowded with the single set once baby started moving around. It took too much brain power to come up with a pattern that blended the two sets, but I figured something out. With these mats being so expensive, I get upset seeing the damage done by the cats' claws as well as the gauges from any little bit of debris that gets dragged across the surface. I have one of the bbluv roll up mats as well that is much better for not getting scratches and the baby can't take it apart like this tile one. What I did find funny was that the tag for the peach/grey one says 0+ and the grey/cream one says 10m+.

MarleyMarley: So far this mat is amazing. It is very easy to clean and good quality. I took away a star because when it was delivered it was loose in a box with no package. I have seen this product in store and it’s supposed to come packaged. I ordered online because I could not find the grey and white alone in stores. There is a different set that comes with peach. I think they do over price these but all kids things seem to be expensive. I would buy again though cause they look great and give my son extra padding when he plays on the floor. Also great cause I am in a first floor apartment and the floor gets really cold because it’s on top of concrete.

ybon: First of all, I'd like to say that we own other Skip Hop items and think their products are typically excellent quality and very functional. This made me more comfortable to spend twice as much on these tiles than other brands. They're made of durable foam and I like the option for various patterns to suit your decor. However, because there are gaps between the tiles, my 9 month old is easily able (and eager) to pull them apart and chew on the them. From that perspective, I'm not happy with these for baby's use even though they're marketed for this purpose. These tiles become an activity in themselves rather than a practical surface for other activities. They wouldn't likely hold my baby's interest for long if they weren't easy for him to separate. I also wouldn't have to reassemble them so often in order to keep baby's play area in tact. We've set some heavier items on them and they haven't dented, though baby was able to leave a few teeth marks on a couple tiles. Some tiles also had holes on the underside straight out of the package. This looks like a manufacturing defect. Time will tell if this will effect how well they survive daily use.
Overall, this is a decent product...

Jamie: We love this mat. It did have a slight smell when we opened it but was not terrible and it dissipated after airing out about 48 hours. It did not give me a headache like a previous mat we bought and had to take back due to the smell. It is soft enough for me to crawl around on my knees to play with my son ( we have wood floors and they kill my knees) but it is still firm so if he topples over he still needs to have his head protected from hitting the mat (5 months old). Easy to clean, perfect size, neutral colors are better than the bright primary colors so it looks good in our living room. Stays together well, no problems with edge pieces.

Danielle GrowDanielle Grow: This is a must buy for all babies! I absolutely am 100% satisfied with my purchase. I have been searching for "the perfect" play mat for my 8 month old. Well I have found the one. I cannot say enough good things about this mat. The mat is 70w x 56h. Perfect size, not too big and not too small. Right now I have it in my living room because that is where she spends the majority of her time, once she is older I will move it to her play room. It is also the perfect thickness. When my baby falls over she is okay, it is nice and soft. My husband and I even lay on it with her sometimes. Being made out of foam is not only great for the cushion, but also for cleaning. It is very easy to clean or wipe up any spit up or spill. I also love that Skip Hop thought to make it where you can make several different patterns. How neat is that? When we get tired of one pattern, we can change it up! A few people complained about the smell. I didn't find it had a strong smell. After being out for about 30 minutes, we never smelt it again!
I highly recommend this product!

Pat: Bought this pad to put on hardwood floors for visiting newborn grandbaby. It provides good cushioning (also for our knees =) but isn't too squishy, so should be easy for a toddler to walk on. Quick & easy to assemble; no instructions nec. I like that both the size & pattern can be varied, as this appears to be very good quality, so probably will be around for a while. Haven't needed to clean it yet, but it looks like it would wipe clean easily with a wet cloth.
