Mario E.Mario E.: The media could not be loaded.  A simple inexpensive headunit that will do the job. Makes my speakers sound good. Bluetooth connects automatically without trouble. Easy to install in my 98 Mitsubishi Eclipse (DSM Lovers; it fits with the original vehicle mounting brackets) haven’t installed the backup camera yet (iykyk) but its all wired in ready to go. The steering wheel buttons I do NOT like because the design is made to connect the signal directly and if my hand is in the way it won’t do anything. The control it comes with works awesome. Ill update this review as time goes by.

Brian ABrian A: Checked my wiring thrice and my front speakers will not work, audio quality otherwise is solid and bluetooth great. Did not recognize backup cam so I set it up as a front camera. The clips on the back that hold the plug into it are loose which result it the radio loosing function randomly. Would recommend getting a higher quality product.

It’s cheap and has Bluetooth

Cons:
The interface is VERY bad, especially the Bluetooth media playback interface. It only has 4 buttons for media control and is arranged in a terrible way for a car radio.

The audio quality /volume over time gets worse (it acts like the power is being lowered to the attached speakers the longer you listen to music)

You can only adjust your highs and lows in the EQ, and anything other than flat sounds bad.

The pre-amp line outs for an external amp are a very dirty signal, it sounds terrible and clips when turned up. I’d venture to say the live out is just another speaker level output with how it acts.

The IR steering wheel remote is a joke, half the time you can’t press it because it barely hangs on to the steering wheel and will move before the button presses unless you hold the back as well.

I WOULD NOT recommend buying this if you are wanting decent sounding audio or have an amp you are intending to connect to it.

If you just want a low volume noise maker, this’ll work fine.

Johnny M.: This radio has a little bit of everything, yet so much to be desired. It's like buying the intro version of a something where for the lower cost, you only get a sample of the best features until you're ready to pay much more for the full version. For starters, the phone mirroring option picked up my iPhone 6s without the need of the App I have read so much about in the reviews. I was able to access navigation, internet, even Youtube, but when I opened Netflix, CNN, U-verse or any other streaming app, it crashes. No matter if I am in park or not. It's like somewhere there is a link that says "For this feature, please upgrade to the full version of this radio." Let's move on to the media player. I struggled to insert a 32gb micro-SD card into the slot. I am a musician with big hands and no fingernails, so I had to use a pen to click it into place. The sound was much better than expected. The EQ was limited but very responsive. I was able to dial in a pretty decent sound for the over 350 songs I had on the SD card. empiretcempiretc: The F-250 had a Soundstream VR-651B installed in it 6 years ago. That radio worked well and was fine. Then, one day, it just stopped producing sound. Checked all the wiring and fuses and everything was fine- it just wouldn't produce audio. We believe something messed up internally as this would mute the music when the backup camera was engaged. Think it did this, and never undid it.

Looked for alternative replacements, and really did not want to spend $$$$$ again, so was ignoring Crutchfield. Ran across this one here, and thoroughly looked it over. For $67.05 and the decent reviews, it was too tempting. Ordered it.

We are incredibly HAPPY with this unit. IT sounds WAY better than the unit it replaced. Everything functions well. Already had the wiring harness with the other radio, so just had to solder this one in. Took all of 10 minutes. The existing backup camera connected fine and works well. Moved over the USB thumb drive with all the music, and that worked perfect.

The only complaint we have, is the included remote. It is great to have this, but when it was mounted on the steering wheel, it would not work. Not sure if this...

Gian: My first review was good, but after ONE DAY of using this unit, I've came again to the conclution that you get what you pay for.
Im going to ask a refund for this item, since it cost me $300 to set it up. (Camera, wiring, etc,etc ) and finally the only thing that was working was the FM Radio. I've tried everything to Link my iPhone to this unit and it was a nightmare.

After a couple of tries I could finally get it to go, but could`t make any calls whatsoever. I had to disconnect my iPhone and then make the call from the stereo itself.

Mirror link or "Phone Link" doesn`t work at all, tried several times like the manual says with my original USB iPhone cable and the radio freezes.
The biggest problem is that theres nothing you can do here, since it is not designed to be compatible for iOS or Android, so theres no app on AppStore or Google Play that it can make it work. Tried with a lot of apps, lots of different USB cables, and nothing.

Theres no such thing as a website for customer service or technical support, so you end up all by yourself in this one, since theres no one to give you a hand.
