7" Double Din Car Stereo Radio Touchscreen with Leadfan Technology

Jay D Lechnyr: My daughter got me this unit as a gift 2 years ago. But someone yanked my line in cord so hard it broke the socket and cable connector. I found a replacement part online for $1, but shipping was $8 - go figure.
So I got a whole new unit, and the old one is on my work bench awaiting parts. It will wait till I have more parts to order. And quite frankly, the older one may not be worth even a $9 repair.
Now on to the review.
The software has changed dramatically in 2 years. And I suspect it will continue to change a lot over time. There's a lot of features here. Each preset of the 5 band equalizer is fully programmable. It read both of my 512GB micro SD cards in just a few seconds. But it did not recognize any of my playlist formats (m3u, m3u8, pla, pls). There's two ways to access an SD card - one just assigns every song a number and dumps them all into a list. This method becomes more and more useless as your music collection grows. The other method allows you to navigate the directory structure, and select songs by file name. While this method is far easier to find the songs and albums you want, this takes time and attention away from your driving. So don't do it while...

DuckDivesInWater: I bought this just to play around with it to see if this will beat the old-school head units from Kenwood, Pioneer, etc.

Overall, I think this is a good deal for anyone who just needs a basic head unit for basic needs and wants a good backup camera. The audio output should be ok with most people with cheap stock speakers.

Personally, I'm a bit picky and have JBL speakers, so I'll be ripping this thing out soon and putting in my 10 year old Kenwood head unit which produces far better audio quality that I'm just used to.

THE GOOD:
* Very inexpensive
* Awesome features for the money
* Fast and rock solid Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity
* AUX input connection works well
* EQ is very good and responsive
* Backup camera works well with a very bright built-in light illuminating pitch dark areas very well

THE BAD:
* FM tuner is a lot weaker than the Kenwood I had in the car. Must set it to "USA2" mode in the setup for the FM tuner to tune into stations in the USA.
* Backup camera line bars are way off showing that I'm about to hit something while I still have 1.5 feet of space. Not sure if the line bars can be adjusted since I did not see any...

DeltaKPDeltaKP: Had to try it just out of curiosity. Removed a Pioneer DMH-W4660NEX to put this in its place. No sane person would do this! I just had to see if a $41 radio could even be 1/4 of what a real radio is. After 2 weeks of driving around with it I've concluded it's exactly what to expect from a $41 radio. I integrated it into the system the best I could but ended up using head unit power for front and rear channels and used audio outputs to my sub amp using the amplifiers crossover functions. Built in EQ with several different settings is nice, but no internal crossover selections. Not really expected at this price point. Tuner is ok, not great. Stations usually strong are not absolutely clear all the time, noticing some faint static at times. Bluetooth connects immediately without issue from my iPhone 13 but the built-in microphone is useless unfortunately. I end up just using my phone when I find myself shouting at the radio and people still tell me they can barely hear me. It installed perfectly in my 2010 Nissan Versa using the factory brackets with some minor filing of the bracket mounting holes. That was the only way to get the right depth and angle so the dash bezel fit perfectly...
