I use this trash can to soak my scuba gear after a dive, and I dump out the leftover water on the plants in the yard. But a trash bin full of water is heavy. So I got a dolly to wheel it around, and installed a spigot at the base so I could easily drain the water and distribute it evenly. Works great. This tool made it simple to drill the exact right size hole right where I wanted it, and I haven't had any leaks.

Tracy B. TeagardenTracy B. Teagarden: I use these in my notcher, I build motorcycle frames and have tried every brand I can find. Complex offset notches require a saw with close tolerances and these do pretty well for the price. I can consistently get 5 or 6 clean notches on .120 4130 and can cut .0625 forever with these, and to do any better you have to spend 5 times the price.

Keith: The media could not be loaded. I am about 10 cuts in with the bit cutting 1/2 black pipe which makes for a perfect joint that I can weld. It is not the cleanest cut but I can drill a pipe in 60 seconds. Not showing any signs of wear or dulling yet. The drill I am using is badly in need of a new belt so it might cut better for others.

AmazonCustomer: Like that this hole saw :
-Has a strong sturdy arbor (another mfgr that I tried has a soft metal arbor that bent)
-Cuts thru steel clean & with little pressure compared to other mfgr brands that I also use
-Seems to last much longer without loosing teeth.
-Like the elongated hole on the side to clean out debris
Don't like
-That there is only one elongated hole to clean out (other mfgr's have two holes making it easier to clean out)
-Does not have a flat spot to grab with a wrench to loosen from arbor. (other mfgrs have flat spots for a wrench)

Antipodean Charm: I used it to drill holes in my pedal board in order to fit Neutrik TRS-TRS jacks at the front. It worked like a charm. Don’t forget to use machine oil on the bit to make it less choppy. And wear eye protection because the metal splinters fly around.

Michael D Frederick: It says it is meant to be used on metal, wood or plastic, but I used it to cut holes in a flimsy metal trash can and some of the teeth started bending by the 3rd hole. I think it would work fine on wood or plastic, but I recommend not using it on any metal projects.
