Arthur J.: We purchased this new freezer to replace and older (20+ yrs) freezer and we're very happy with it. It arrived with no damages to shipping box or the freezer at all. Once we unwrapped it and placed it into the house where we wanted it, we waited a few hours to allow the gas & oil to settle and we plugged it in to get it cold. It didn't take but a couple hours to get it to where we could transfer the food into it and was freezing nicely. The instructions recommend setting it to half way to get it going on the first "run". After everything was well frozen, I turned it down a half of notch to save on energy and everything is still very frozen as it should be. I probably could go down a little more if I need to, but it's fine. It runs very quiet and you would never know it's running. To the people who complained that it was noisy, you must realize that any freezer or fridge that has been moved around and on it's side must sit for a period of time to allow everything to settle again. Failing to do so can ruin your investment!

Julie: I bought this freezer as a second freezer, it was delivered quickly came undamaged, was lightweight enough that me and my husband could put it in the room where we were placing it as for Energy Efficiency I've only had it for a few weeks so I'm not sure on that but the tag says that it is. Perfect size it seems to be just what I was looking for. Would recommend it for the price you can't beat it, and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I could fit in it.

Luke: The media could not be loaded.  UPDATE: After I took the video I posted with my review, I unplugged the freezer for 24 hours before plugging it back in, the noise hasn't happened again since then. I'm not sure if that's something that might just happen the first time it's turned on, or if it might've been shaken around when it was being delivered, but just to be on the safe side let this freezer sit for about a day after you receive it before plugging it in.

So far it works great, it didn’t arrive damaged, and the cup of water and ice cream I put in as a test both froze over completely as expected, the only thing I’m concerned about is every now and then the freezer will turn on and make this noise for about 30 seconds, this is my first time owning a chest freezer so I’m not sure if this is normal which is why I’m bringing it up here, if this is what chest...

Brittany Olsen: I would give this zero stars if I could. DO NOT PURCHASE! I decided to order in spite of all the units that were arriving damaged. It came on time and only had two small dents so we decided to keep it. We filled it up with hundreds of dollars worth of food in the first 7 weeks we had it, including 100oz. of breast milk and 20 frozen crockpot meals. It stopped working before it was even two months old! We called and they made us do a factory reset. Waited 24 hours while food was expiring (dry ice did not help) and called back. We were given a case number and told to email our information. No one at the only number provided could help with anything. They even refused to provide a phone number so I could talk to someone in customer service. I followed their instructions and emailed, including an itemized list of all food lost (since the product they sold me did not do what I bought it to do) and got an automated response saying someone would follow up on 1-3 business days.
