dp215: I extensively researched replacing my very old, much beloved henkels flatware (too many pieces lost). I really thought this would do it. I bought it on Prime Day, got a good deal and so don't feel completely cheated. The flatware is well made and well proportioned. But I was promised a substantial feel - the weight of a more expensive set - the kind you hand down - and this is not that.

Rosalie Wenner: This set is very pretty. I would call it lightweight but sufficient. I am happy with how it looks however I notice that the company stamp on the knife blade is on the upside of the knife. On my old set the company stamp is on the bottomside so when your table is set you do not see it. Not sure why they stamped the upside here since it does not look very nice when the table is set. For this reason I gave 4 stars.

Sam McDonough: It took me some time to find an affordable service for 12 that was also sturdy and attractive. Very pleased with the weight of the product, how it feels and one's hand and most importantly the prongs on the forks. I don't like prongs to be pointy and I don't like them to be flimsy. These are sturdy solid prongs. Only possible downside to set is I find I must make sure to wipe them with a cloth when they come out of the dishwasher so they don't spot. Definitely would recommend definitely would repurchase.

J and D Boling: Just opened this silverware and it's wonderful. Beautiful and very sturdy. I love how nice it looks, almost too nice for everyday use. I searched a long time to find the perfect flatware that was budget friendly for a large family, as well as heavy duty for everyday use. I'm super picky and have not found anything good until these. I'm hoping I don't have any rust issues as some have commented they had. I guess we will see and I'll update my review if we do.
Great value for the money. Running them through the dishwasher now. I did notice they have included care instructions about not using lemon based soaps or leaving them to soak or letting acidic foods set in them. Hopefully we can take good care of them and not need to buy any other sets.
I did notice the tea spoons are on the large size, but it seems to be common these days. Do people just have bigger mouths? But otherwise they are the same size as my previous flatware and I love that.

Update: weeks later and still no issues at all. Love these! We use them Daily and with kids don't always follow the rules to keep them rust free, but still have had no issues. We are sure to avoid lemon soap though.
