judy sepik: A group of us bought this for friends as thank you for hosting us over the years at their lake house. We all (6) used it last weekend. It was a blast! Very roomy with 6 of us & could possibly accommodate more but you’d be close together. It is much larger than it looks, so blowing it up & deflating can be a challenge. You need a large area for both & carrying it out of the water partially deflated took all 6 of us. I would recommend this if you have a lake or river access with large spaces to inflate/deflate & launch it. It’s so much fun and very unique design.

Drew W.Drew W.: I've purchased many large inflatables and islands over the years, and this is the thinnest material of the bunch. Got a hold punched in it the first weekend, which was our fault, but was very-very-very easily punctured. It did fix well with a vinyl patch kit and has been holding air since. Because of the thin material, you will inflate it for eons because it stretches so much.
The inside bench cushions are very soft, even with max inflation. Not very comfortable for any adult. Since the benches inflate in 3 different sections, kids of a smaller size can get stuck in between the bladders. The netting on the bottom does seem very sturdy as is welded well. After 2 weekends of use, there are many raised spots in the vinyl that will probably progress to pinholes soon.
This was purchased as a play thing for the kids to keep them off the adult 8 person island, and it's worked well at that. Other than a kids novelty, it's not very practical for adult use.
It does look neat on the water though and gets a lot of looks from passer-by's!

David Timperley: This takes a while to inflate. We use a shop-vac to make it go quicker. The center mesh area allows water to come in at the bottom for your feet. The handles are not strong, and the seams get weak in the heat. You absolutely do not want to allow kids to be unattended ... if they try to board the boat via the handles, there is a high probability they will rip one, rendering the unit useless. And if they jump from one area to another, or jump from another island onto this one, the rapid movement of air will likely blow out a seam. (Both things happened to us.) But 6 adults used it, quite comfortably, with no issues.

JMorton: Used this for the first time on the Fourth of July. It was a blast. It's a bit of a chore to inflate but worth it. Everyone loved it. The sheer size of it just makes you laugh. We bought it for the kids, but the adults spent most of the time enjoying it. We leashed it to the dock on a very long line and used a paddle to guide it. It deflated easily with an electric pump but was a bit heavy to lift out of the water. Although we bought it as a novelty item, hope it lasts.

R. LaskyR. Lasky: I thought my husband was crazy when he wanted to buy this for our pool. Yes, our pool. But it was Father’s Day, so I gave in. I’m so glad I did. We are having a ball on it! It’s huge and takes up most of the pool so it would be ideal on a lake or very large pool. But laying on it, with our eyes closed, and a breeze, I feel like I’m on a lake! In the days of Covid-19, it is great to feel that way while still at home in the backyard!
