Amazon Customer: Nice looking switch, good price, But, Usual drill-bit sizes max at 1/2 inch and this switch requires 5/8" hole, and odd ball size which a wood flat bit can be used for plastic (forget wood as switch allows appx 1/8" max thickness of material it's going into), and flat bits are No Good for drilling into metal. The back-support, though comes with a rubber seal is still not solid and could cause the switch to turn in it's mount. There are work arounds such as a good glue and special Hole Bits but for the average person, by the time you pay for the 5/8 inch bit you saved ziltch.
