Ellis Ditrip: For years I have just been picking up poopoo with my hands, but this lady saw me doing it and kind of flipped out about it. She told me to get these bags and it was such a great suggestion! Now when I pickup the poopoo with a bag on my hand, it is much less disgusting feeling on my hand and fingers. I don't have the smell of poopoo on my hand for the rest of the walk and I can itch my nose and eyes without getting poopoo all over my face and mouth.

Jay Ann Cox: They are poop bags. They haven’t broken through “on the job” and presumably they dissolve in a lot less than 10,000 years. The box comes with 540 bags and I quickly did some math (and gave up). That’s like …months? Years? of poops. The mind boggles. I did cloth diapers for my baby because imagining the mountain of disposables he would go through was too much for me.

I got nothing else. Buy them and pick up your dogs poop as good citizens should. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Heather: I was nervous about these bags at first. They seemed pretty thin, but ended up being very sturdy...no rips or tears & also contain the smell well. I usually prefer the scented bags, but these do the job & I like that they're good for the environment. They hold a surprisingly large amount as well! I have an energetic 55 lb dog who needs a good sized bag when cleaning up after him & this one fits the bill (with room to spare)!! Two minor issues I have with these bags though are: #1.) The first bag tears on each roll when trying to take the sticker off. It's not really that big of a deal though b/c the hole it makes is towards the top of the bag, so it's still usable. And #2.) The bags are a bit tough to open sometimes...especially at night. They stick together & unless your fingers are damp or it's really humid out, they're impossible to unstick. If you have good lighting (or really good eyesight I guess), you can see the slight shift in the bag when you're rubbing it together & you can grab on (to the tiny millimeter piece of one of the sides) to pull it apart. I avoid this by making sure I have a few bags open before I go out, then I don't have to worry about...

Insert Something Silly Here: This bulk pack lasts a long time! I've had my dog almost two years, and I've only had to buy two boxes total. Just opened the second box recently.
These are easy to tear off the roll, and pulling one off almost never damages it. The seam along the bottom does not break!
The thickness is a great balance of usability, and not having to worry about getting waste on your fingers.
The roll inside the bags is cardboard, not plastic.

Occasionally (maybe less than 2% of the time) the bag rips along one seam when you open it. Sometimes it's still usable, sometimes it's not. This doesn't happen often.

Phil Hopkins: I had been using any plastic bags I could find to daily clean out the litter box. Now that plastic bags are in short supply, I decided to use bags designed for dogs. I wanted a more eco-friendly plastic and these bags were the ones I choose. It takes a while to unroll, separate and open each bag, but I often do several rolls at once while I am watching TV. The opened bags are then scrunched into a holder beside the litter box and the daily clean-out is so much easier for me. The bags hold a lot and are exactly what I needed.

Kindle Customer: These are my 'usual' poop bags now. They're a good price when you buy the bigger packs (and why wouldn't you - who wants to run out of poop bags) and they are a good size for smaller dogs with smaller poops. I only buy compostable bags, but cannot vouch for the biodegradability of these as I have only tossed them in a bin afterward. I agree with some of the other reviews that the sticky label that holds the roll closed if not ideal as it often means ripping the first bag on the roll, but invariably this tends to be at the 'open' end of the bag so I don't tend to find I waste any. A quick fix for the manufacturers though would just be to switch to a lower tack sticker to keep the roll closed before being opened. Not a deal breaker for me though, and as long as my dog is pooping, I'll be buying these!
