MDMD: I used these to pack up my kitchen for a recent move. Although they are a bit thinner than expected, all of my dishes and glassware arrived without breakage. Having these foam pouches makes packing go much more quickly -- just slide the item in, fold any excess around the item, and put it in the box. Much easier than cutting foam and taping it around each dish. These fit my standard dinner plates easily, and I also used them for smaller plates, mugs, glasses and other glass, ceramic and porcelain items. Really a huge time saver.

Courtney Rose: I thought the foam was perfect. I used it to pack up my grandma's china for a move across country. Using the foam and tips from my mom on proper packing of dishes, I have no doubt about the safety of my china dishes. Also, I was pleasantly surprised when these foam envelopes for glasses also worked for small plates.
