Suz: These were comfortable socks to wear and I love the colors. I give them I ly 4 stars because I would not recommend them for long or strenuous hikes though. The padding is not enough to protect your feet from blisters/soft spots. I wore them during a 7hr difficult hike and halfway through my toes were already sore. I would use them only for short hikes or casual use such as the gym.

Char, The (Mostly) Happy Shopper: These are the most comfortable socks I have ever purchased. Not even kidding. I bought them because I plan on doing some light hiking this spring/summer and wanted some socks that might offer a bit more comfort. I decided to try them out on one of my runs recently and they were amazing. There's extra padding on the bottom of the foot as well as better cushioning on the back heel. There was no rubbing or discomfort. I initially was afraid the extra padding would make my feet get really hot, but it didn't. I doubt I'll ever run without wearing these again. I can't wait to try them out hiking. I definitely plan on buying more.

Karen B: First of all, I was impressed with the packaging. Each sock was individually packed in its own cardboard container; the individual socks were secured together, as a pair, with little metal things. Nothing pierced the fabric; therefore nothing to damage the integrity of the product. The socks look great, the coloring is great and the fit is super. I wear a 7-1/2 to 8 size shoe, so I purchased the small size. I was somewhat leery to do this, but I took a chance. It was the right choice. I am so pleased to finally have socks with the heel where it's supposed to be; not up my leg! They're comfortable; not too bulky and the length is just right! I will wear these throughout the year for any type of activity. I bicycle a lot, and plan to wear these socks. I will also wear these to the gym and during the winter months. They're pretty much all purpose socks.

Jamie: I received these socks just two days after I ordered them, which is good because my boyfriend and I have just decided to take up hiking. We purchased hiking boots at Dick's Sporting Goods the other day and quickly realized we'd need decent socks (we're completely new to this). I just got them in today so I haven't been hiking in them yet, but they feel awesome! My calves are a little bigger than average and longer socks are usually too tight on me, but these feel perfect! I wear a size 7.5 in shoes, but an 8.5 in my Columbia hiking boots. I went with the small size and they seem to fit perfectly. I can't wait to go hiking in them!
