Ron K.Ron K.: I bought these rotary switches in 2016 for a couple of 12v DC 2amp projects I built. My first picture shows the twisted wire diameter of 1.28mm. Second picture is of the 34 tinned copper strands at 54 gauge each, making these rotary switch wires at 18AWG per the "Solid and Stranded Conductor AWG Chart" at Calmont.com. 18AWG wire with this number of strands has a maximum amp rating of 4.2 amps for both 12v DC and 115v AC, but depending on the contact's surface area inside the switch, maximum amp rating could be less. Top of knob diameter is 15.48mm (just under 5/8"). Thread diameter is 9.72mm, M10x1.0mm thread pitch. 5/32" inch (3.94mm) maximum panel thickness. 1/2" (12.64mm) from panel mount surface to top of knob.
