R. Conley: This is my go-to for gumbo either as a starter or as a half recipe the other half being scratch. All you need is protein of your choice File powder and frozen(or fresh, never around here) okra. Last batch I made using only the packet, file powder and okra was judged the best he ever had by a picky foodie friend. Go figure – BUY IT! Won’t be sorry.
