5-Pack of Extra Loud Whistles for Camping, Hiking, Hunting, Outdoors Sports, and Emergencies

April Ligon: I'm in Alaska so in order to actually know if they work for scaring off the bears I would need to find a bear. I want to - don't get me wrong BUT I don't want to need to use this whistle when I do see one! It sounds good to me when I blow it and that's security enough for me!

Joseph: It’s an ideal perfect little whistle to have on a lanyard or key chain. The sound quality is not so bad. Only problem is one of the whistles on the pack was missing it’s plastic part in the chamber this making it useless to use

Kindle Customer: This is the precise style of whistle I need, however, these are way to small to be comfortably held in the mouth and blow without one's lips covering the hole which needs to be uncovered by the mouth. When I have it in my mouth, my lips partially cover that hole and therefore the whistle sound is partly muffled. I use whistles while training my dogs and lost my former one which was at least twice the size so that it could be held by lips without even covering the hole that requires air. Sorry ... it is mediocre at best unless you are a child.

Amazon Customer: Got the whistles very early which was a surprise but when i got the whistles i tried them right away; at first i was disappointed that the first two (red and blue) didnt work but as soon as i got the third one i realized why they are for emegencies lol. As pleased as i am with three working amazingly i was disappointed that they didnt all work.

Would definetly recommend to anyone if all whistles worked.

Marie Rebstock: I am a preschool teacher at a daycare and let me tell you! The noise levels can get very high.he was whole is perfect because I can wear it as a necklace or I can wear it on my wrist or on my keychain and it's very high pitch so it drops the noise level down very low and draws attention.I use it in the classroom my husband uses it at work when he's working on cranes to signal to the operator his hand signals. We love our whistles. we use it when we go fishing when you sit on the boat we use it for safety purposes.

dawn m gamberale: Great price and quality whistles. Bought these for my kids for when they hike and backpack. Very loud, piercing whistle when blown with force. Small enough to hang on your key ring and fit in your pocket.
