casey parady: It was kind of hard to get suction and did not clean the rocks as well as I hoped. I ended up just dumping the tank and cleaning everything. I probably would look in to a different option. The attachments have been great though.

Jennifer Young: Doesn't have the greatest suction power but for a small tank it will suffice. The pole the attachments go on though isn't the most rigid so I imagine it's not going to last long.

It’s easy to use and I loved it but my cat bite in it while playing so it can no longer be used to change the water of my aquarium, but the other pieces are still useful. I have tried 2 other brand, but this kit is my favorite

Nadia Nichols: I bought this to use the siphon to clean the bottom of my fish tank, and it works great for that. I use the water siphoned out to water my indoor plants and they love it. The tools are handy, but they slip off the long handle so I had to pick the ones I used the most (the glass scrubber and the net) and tape them on. The plant positioner? I don't know how anyone positions plants with that. I finally reached my arm into the 30 gallon tank and did a little underwater gardening to secure the live plant roots deep in the substrate. I have mellow goldfish so they're okay with my intrusions. This was worth the money, no regrets.

Andrea Anne Aloysius: I purchased this mainly for the pump and loved that other nifty tools came with it. It was important for a first-time fish-tank owner like me to have the availability of these other components in case I needed them. I haven’t quite used the rest of the parts, but the pump works very well once you’ve gotten it to work. I have two tanks that sit on a stand. The bigger tank is on the top and the smaller one is on the bottom. It does take some time for the squeeze to get sucking but once the water starts flowing, squeeze a few more times and it’s good to go for the top tank. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the bottom tank. Perhaps it has to do with the fact that the pipe is long and so it takes forever for the squeezing to pump water out into my buck when I’m working with the small tank on the lower portion? I don’t know. It is difficult. For the amount of time it finally took for me to get it working, it was much faster and easier to use cups to scoop out the water instead.
