42" Brushed Nickel Portage Bay 51437 Renton Ceiling Fan

BeckyBecky: Looks good and puts out a nice breeze. I have purchased 3 of these. All arrived well packed. Although it comes with light bulbs, I bought different energy efficient bulbs. This is a picture of the "lighter" side of the fan blades. But you can reverse them to the wood color if you want. This fan is NOT noisy at all. Don't even know it's on except for the breeze.

Valerie R: This fan is little but it packs quite a punch! Instructions were easy to follow even for my first time installing a ceiling fan.

I was a tad annoyed at having to remove screws only to need to put them right back, but at least I knew exactly where they went and didn't have to worry about using an incorrect screw.

The fan and light are both extremely impressive and upgrades from my previous Hunter fan. The only thing about this entire unit that feels a tad cheap is the wooden knobs at the end of the pull chains but I don't mind because those are easy to replace and customize anyways.

Same some money over the big box stores and get impressive performance all the way around (And around and around.....). Now that's a win - win!!

Mr. LeMr. Le: Replaced my old and out of style ceiling fan. This ceiling fan was easy to install. The instructions are straight forward. I love the colour and design of this ceiling fan. Makes a big difference for the room. There's no noise when it's on. The air circulation is great. It has 3 fan speeds.

Craig Smith: Fan is low profile that works with 8 foot ceiling. Lights illuminate well. Fan was balanced right from the get go.
Only frustration was the way the base fits on the junction box it was difficult to work the wiring back into junction box. Safety factor if wiring was not in junction box and unit turned on.
Overall good product and would buy again if another fan/light was required for our home.

SSJSSJ: Came quick, and looks absolutely amazing! Is nice and light, and was easy to follow directions, and install. I picked this for the silver wood colour, but there is also a dark wood option on the other side of the blade.

All in all definitely recommend.

Ian A.: I loved the fact that you could hang the fan on it's hook while make the connections.... easy for 1 person to install EXCEPT the small screws that hold the light in..... then you need either 3 hands or a magnetic screw driver. (That's the reason I reduced the star... it was frustrating!)

Great light for the price and works well.... lots of light.
