Biff44: well, they are well made, and strong.
but the detent ball on the end is pretty small, so the hole you drill for this pin has to be pretty tight or it will not hold it in.

Chuck: The convertible roof on my restored 1979 Jeep CJ7 couldn't quite clear an aftermarket roll cage to fold down. I was able to drill out the rivets and use these pins instead, allowing me to temporarily remove pins, disconnecting the top frame to clear the roll-cage cage, then reattach the pins in normal folded position. Perfect.
