Ren: To my surprise, these actually work. I tried last night on a small tank with fresh algae and I wasn't really surprised that it came off easily but the size of the sponge made it a quick job. Today I tried on some more stubborn spots in other tanks and it took a couple of rounds with a little elbow grease and it worked! These are spots I couldn't get to budge with a toothbrush. I have health issues and very little energy so if it worked for me I guarantee it will work for you. My algae wasn't extensive or heavy but just some spots that made the glass less than pristine. Nikki R.: I love these sponges for cleaning the sides of my aquarium. They work amazingly well. We have hard water and a lot of evaporation, which leaves mineral lines on the sides of the aquarium. These take care of the problem easily with not much scrubbing - a couple quick passes and the glass sparkles like new.

Nutmeg: These are the best!!! Gets rkd of crud on the tank glass without scratching it. Bought one batch and will get more. Much better than what I was getting from the aquarium store.
