R. Bruce McCreary: I just cut some 3x3 by 1/4 inch angle iron, and I did a comparison between this and some Pretec abrasive cutting wheels. I was very pleased on the first cut with this diamond blade, but with each cut it slowed significantly. By the third cut, I estimated that it took 3 times as long as the thin kerf Pretec discs. That was really discouraging, as otherwise I love the lack of stink, dust, and sparks. The Pretec standard abrasive discs would only last for 2 cuts each.

But I can get quite a stack for the price of one of these, and I was not able to stand the cutting speed of these after just 3 cuts. On each cut, they got slower.

On in-shop smaller jobs or thinner stock, the lack of dust, stink and sparks may make me consider it. For outdoor work on heavier stock I'll stick to the Pretec abrasive disks.

charles spears: I have made quality cuts in cast iron and steel fast with no issues. With the price of abrasive cut off wheels this thing will pay for it self. Also, there is no abrasive dust cloud, only metal shavings.

molotlovjl: lo e probado en 2 amoladoras de diferente marca, pero para mi gusto hace mucho ruido y no veo que el corte sea mas rápido que con un disco tradicional, espero que su periodo de vida sea como lo indican en sus características.

Isi: Me ha dejado sorprendido,, en verdad no duden en comprarlo su calidad es muy buena y mucho más práctico que los dicos de corte comunes.. para empezar olvídate de estar cambiando disco tras disco cada q se acaba, q lata, es sorprendente su calidad... Bien vale lo q cuesta... No lo pienses más..
