M Lewis: Amazing value for the money at 1/3 the price of name brand induction units. This cooktop does everything they state and more including boiling water in under a minute. Way easier to clean and maintain. Totally thrilled I switched to induction, it was time to replace those teflon pans, anyway.

oregon mom: I love cooking with gas, but it is not available in my area and converting to propane was cost prohibitive. I heard that induction was just as good. I would not go that far, but it IS a bazillion times better than cooking on a regular electric cook top.

One item to beware: I have had the same (awesome) stainless steel cookware for 37 years. I thought ANY stainless steel pan would work with induction. Alas, it is not so. The alloy composition is different for each manufacturer and some do not have enough iron to magnetize, and therefore induction will not happen.

Any cast iron or carbon steel pan will work, and some stainless steel, also. I have noticed more manufacturers making stainless specific for induction lately. I have had the cook top for a couple years and when I first got it they were harder to find and weren't labeled (had to take a magnet with me to the store, LOL)

Daniel: Not only are the heating elements a much smaller diameter than the circles on the top, but its idea of heating on anything lower than 8 is to cycle the power on and off instead of heating at a constant lower output. Pretty disappointed.

GracefulGhostGracefulGhost: I love the cooktop. In America we use copper wiring, but this cooktop has aluminum wiring. Only because hooking this up aluminum to copper can actually cause your home to burn to the ground, you MUST use a licensed electrician. There are tiny copper looking ends applied to the ends of the aluminum, making it appear deceptively like copper. Thankfully, my husband is a skilled, retired hotel engineer, and is experienced with knowing what to look so he took a few extra steps to ensure this was safely, and properly installed. I cannot stress enough that you must have someone experienced and licensed to install this! It’s a great stove top if you do.

UPDATE after using the cooktop for more than one week: Wonderful! The cooktop is a dream to use, and is the most accurate of any I have ever used. It is easy to clean, and cooks accurately. Even my smallest pots can be used on the largest burners, which is not expected. My previous induction burners were so particular that if the post was slightly off center the burner would alarm and turn off. Not this jewel. It recognizes all of my pots and pans no matter what their size, and the temperature I set it on to cook is perfect. This...

Richard D Jardine: This is a positive review of the 30" Sincreative induction cooktop. We have been using it for our daily cooking for six months now. The unit has been performing flawlessly. Any quibbles are related to the nature of induction. Not at all due to this unit.

A bit of our history: 1) We cooked on a four burner gas cooktop for 35 years. Of course great for cooking. But even with care to avoid spills, and wipe-downs after each meal, a really major cleaning was needed every few weeks. Which included removing grates and drip-pans and letting soak in heavy duty cleaners. After the three decades, we finally lost enthusiasm for the routine. 2) So then installed a traditional type glass electric cook top. The type that glows red at higher settings. But spills easily would bake/burn hard on the surface. Then only scraping with the special razor tool, followed by glass restoring abrasive cleaners, and lots of elbow grease, would restore the surface again to acceptable appearance. Plus any scrapes made on the very hot glass when cooking at higher hear settings easily ended up as scratches that could not be removed. Also the glass would remain hot very for quite some time which prevented...
