Tom W.: I don't know much about using pipettes. I have more background in medical than in chemical sciences, but these seem pretty nice. I use them to measure hydroponic nutrients and they work very well. I can get them more precise than I could any other way. I've had them for about a year now and none of the bulbs have cracked. They seem like a fairly durable plastic (the pipette itself is glass) that will last a long time. The bulbs pop right off for cleaning and I've had no trouble with that.

LeeAnn F: I use these for homebrewing - taking wort samples for the refractometer and putting in acid or other additives. Work great for that purpose. Just watch out for the tips as they break easy, as is too be expected with any fine glass product.

Dean Buzzell: Purchased these for DIY eLiquid mixing. I typically mix by volume, using syringes, and need to have pretty accurate ml markings on my labware. When flavor bottles get down to a lower volume, syringes usually can't get down far enough to pull in liquid, so these pipettes are great for that. They're also really nice for filling my atomizer tank quickly.
They arrived in good shape, well packaged. I found the bulbs to be excellent - the silicone fits snugly around the tube and they draw very nicely. The only downer I had is the graduations are backward - the highest number is at the bottom of the pipette, at the tip, while the zero line is in the middle of the tube. I'm sure there's a reason for that (just about all the other good quality pipettes I looked at were that way as well), it just seems counter-intuitive. When I draw 1 ml, I'm at the '4' mark; 2 ml puts me at 3, and so on, until I hit the zero mark when I've drawn 5 ml. Seems backward. That being said, though, I've tested, and found the markings to be quite accurate, only off by a very small margin. If you need extreme precision, you wouldn't be using a pipetted anyway, so the accuracy is more than good enough for my...

Scienceguy: These graduated Pipettes are remarkable. Finally a Pipette with decent volume and most importantly a bulb with enough volume to draw the full 5 ml capacity. I was tired of squeezing bulbs on inferior hardware that only drew 30% of the cylinder’s potential volume. These are high quality commercial laboratory grade equipment. Without hesitation I will order more to complete my reagent set. 5 stars indeed.
