Virginia Kenney: After a year and a half, the scratch part is finally separating from the base, but I think it's totally worth it for the price. It does slip around a little, if your cats are using it as a zoomies jumping-off point. But, five stars - they love this mat, as do I. It's an excellent alternative to the cardboard scratch mats, especially for my cat that won't use scratching posts or door hangers.

Andrea: Deeva is a catnip girl so when I first got it I
sprinkled some on it to draw her to the mat, and it worked. She seems to be using it! I’ve not seen her use the padded side but that’s ok.
I’ve only had this a few days so we’ll see if she continues scratching it. So far, so good!
