Get your tea ball strainers today and start steeping your favorite tea in style!Menoc: These are used to make tea. (Obviously). They work well and don’t let the tea escape when you have them closed properly. The only complaint is trying to get them closed all the way. There is a pin you have to line up with a hole that’s small and hard to see. If you don’t, you’re going to have tea particles floating in your drink. No rust so far. I’d say they work well.

Kimberly:
These are not good. They don't clasp shut nor stay shut. The chain the clasp is hooked to, if you attempt to hang it or pull on it at all it opens the tea ball and your expensive herbs and tea leaves float out into your water. Thank goodness I have cheese cloth to assist in removing the debris I get constantly from using these.
I won't purchase this again and not certain why anybody would rate this poorly made product well. I CAN use. But cannot be used without some sort of fail every single time.

Are these better than anyone else's? Of course not. Pretty much any tea ball is the same. But they have no flaws- the clasps work great, there are no loose wires poking out, they are not some weird metal that rusts and tastes bad. Perfectly good, normal tea balls.
I gotta say, in reaction to the shockingly highly-rated review from some idiot who apparently doesn't have tea on their home planet... no it is NOT a design flaw that you can only fill a chain-style ball halfway (as opposed, I guess, to the ones on stiff handles, that open like scissors, so you could grab a full scoop out of the tea tin). YOU ARE ONLY EVER SUPPOSED TO FILL A TEA BALL HALFWAY, well, actually less than halfway. You need to leave room for the water to swirl through the tea so it can infuse properly. If it's jammed in there tightly, you won't get all the flavor out of the tea leaves. And keep in mind tea expands a lot once it is fully wet. You want to fill a teaball maybe 1/3 full in my opinion. Half full is the absolute maximum.
This little 2" one I bought is only good for a single cup of tea if you like it strong, maybe half a pot of weak tea. If you want to do a full strength full...

DENISE DITRANI: Great deal - you get two tea balls which can be used for loose tea or spices that you need to remove before serving. There are sturdy hooks that can affix to a cup or pot edge and if you're super creative, you can add a charm or crystal on the end and give them as gifts with packages of loose tea!
