Theodore M.: The price was definitely right on these as it came with 2 of each grit. I especially liked each one is labeled with the grit so you don't have to color code them or keep them in a particular order.

Darque: So these weren't exactly what I needed, as I needed more rougher grit and not as much of the super fine grit sandpaper. BUT this was an excellent and inexpensive way to find out what works best on the projects I'm working on. Between girlpla and wood carving, most of the sanding sponges will be used, and I know which specific grits to order next time. The sponges fit into the smaller spaces that I need, and they last a sufficient length of time

Amazon Customer: I use these pads to sand pen blanks before I polish them. They work great, but wear out quickly. I usually get about 10-12 blanks out of each set before they become noticeably worn. Considering you get 3 sets that means I get 30-36 sandings out of the pack. For me, that is acceptable. Just don't expect them to last. I wil continue to buy them.

Meef: I recently bought bigger sanding sponges kinda similar to these ones, but from a different store. Not sure if they get their stuff from the same distributor, but all the grits are off by a lot just like the bigger ones. I've compared these grits with other sandpapers and other misc sand sponges that I have and basically came up with the following grits:
320 -> 180
400 -> 240
600 -> 320
1000 -> 400
1500 -> 600
2000 -> 800
2500 -> 1000
3000 -> 1500
3500 -> 2000
Other than that, they work fine.

However, there are two nits I have to pick:
1) The abrasion grades are wrong. It's more like 180 to 2000, not 350 to 3500.
2) They seem to wear down a little faster than I would have liked.
3) They are ONE SIDED. Meaning the grade printed side is not abrasive.
The pros?
1) Clearly marked. You can't lose track of the grade.
2) There's actually 3 per grade, so that's a nice compensation for the faster wear.
They should bump up the price to $9.99 and include grades up to 12000 grit.
