Happy Birthday Buyer: I bought this as a Birthday present for my partner of 30 years , who has always played guitar and found his adjustment to the Uke has been easy and overall entertaining for our children. Having a tuner and extra strings as part of the package is a great encouragement for new musicians, because they rarely find interest if they have to purchase several things before feeling they can whip out their instrument and just play. Would recommend this ukulele for all genres of music enthusiasts!

CazonCazon: Amazing ukelele! I recieved it yesterday and I am loving it. Very large compared to a soprano(included size comparison) and sounds beautiful, it is mellow sounding. If you're looking to upgrade to a concert at a moderate/cheap price this is PERFECT for you! Dont let the other reviews scare you!

Now, for some cons with it:
It's a bit sharp on two parts! The top of the fret board(where the head is) and where the strings get tied on the body. It isn't sharp enough to seriously hurt anyone, and if you play properly you really just dont touch those parts at all so they dont bother you.

Other than that it's AMAZING!
Really good ukelele that I highly recommend.
This review is my first impressions I will update my review once I have owned this ukelele for longer.

Nicole S: I have decades experience playing guitars, but wanted a ukulele to mess about with. I'd bought a really cheap tiny one before that was useless so this time made sure to buy a Tenor that looked ok.

The Build and sound is fairly nice. Basically you are getting a Ukulele that is good quality but hasn't had a lot of love in set up. One spot on the body edge was a bit rough and needed just a wipe with light sandpaper, and the fret ends were a bit sharp. Maybe most people this won't bother, but I bought some small jewelry files on Amazon and spent 15 mins filing the sharp spots. Now it feels beautiful to play. The only other thing in it's playability is the Nut wasn't filed correctly so the A string sits a bit high, making it harder to fret the A#, it's ok but if I had a nut file I'd lower the nut slot on that string, maybe yours will be fine, I imagine this is just a quality control thing, but I bet the frets are a bit sharp on all of them.

I think it plays as nice as one I tested in a store that costed 5-6 times more now.

It arrived horribly out of tune, (usually if you buy a guitar it would arrive close to being in tune, or a high end guitar might even be exactly...

Jeff N.: Pretty good sound. You have to tune it a few times, but it comes with a tuner and it will reasonably hold the tuning for a few songs. There's a buzz on the top string and if you're picking, it's really noticable but not really an issue for strumming. For a tenor uke, the price point is great. Other people have complained about sharp fret separator bars but mine were fine. I have gigantic hands and I had no issues chording until I got pretty far up the neck. Great little uke for the price. Nice accessories but the included strap is pretty much useless

aphoto: This is a nice ukulele if you know how to set it up or bring it to a local luthier to set it up for you. This is what mine needed. The neck was straight enough with a little fret work to get it level. There was some buzzing that required the second, sixth and eight fret to need some adjusting. These frets are quite soft so it didn’t take much. I would keep a light touch on this instrument for even with nylon strings they’ll most likely ware fast. The edges were sharp and needed some fine finishing. The bridge was a bit rough and not fully glued down in the back edge. The saddle needed slight adjustment at the A and C for the correct height. The tuners worked but too heavy for this light instrument so I replaced them with some Grover stay tights I got on amazon fo $19. The holes were 10mm and the grovers were 9mm so I rapped them with some copper foil tape to get a snug fit, much better balance now. It now plays well and has a nice sound. For $50 and about a half hour of work it’s a fine little instrument with a decent case to bring anyplace and have fun with.

LG: I am a beginner. I bought this for myself and a Cordoba soprano for my daughter. I like the sound of this Hricane much better. The strings that came on hers are more gentle on the fingertips, but also seem cheaper. The strings on this uke seem more durable. The Cordoba is way prettier, this Hricane is quite plain looking, but I don't care, I love it.

I also like the case better than the one I bought for my daughter and the tuner that comes in this pack is really great. I prefer it to the snark I bought separately.

And i chose the best ukulele that looks and FEELS great in my hands. The amazing wood structure, with its detailed wood grain of beautiful texture is out of this world. The sound is nevertheless just as good as any other ukelele, and the strings can be tuned well. With an amazing thick cushioned case I am seriously in love with the sound, string, build of this ukelele. I have been practicing daily and want others to be sexure in this purchase because you are definitely getting everything you need with this purchase.!

Amazon Customer: I like it! This is a nice little uke at a very good price for the quality and workmanship. I currently have 7 ukes, but found myself without a "playable" soprano with standard tuning (my concert and tenors all have low G tuning). The workmanship, quality of components, sound, intonation, and feel compare well with instruments selling for much more. Strings and tuners are high quality. There are fancier looking low cost instruments available, but if this were to be my only starter instrument. this little guy would be my choice. The case/ gig bag is well made, nicely padded, and perfect for regular transporting, The included capo is usable and a nice little bonus. The extra strings are also a nice bonus, but if you are a beginner, check a good online tutorial and be careful about using the right sizes! Overall, a good basic playable uke, and a real value at the price.

DrDGonzo: I bought this for my daughter who has a guitar, but never plays it. She has not put this down since she got it, and now she seems more prone to pulling out her guitar. It has a nice finish and stays in tune. The case is pretty nice it has enough padding t protect it from bumps and possibly drops. It works well for toting it around and keeping it clean and the material seems pretty durable. The picture doesn't do it justice. I'm not a Ukele aficionado, but this has a very nice tone and a joy to listen to when played. So do yourself a favor and get your favorite 21 pilots fan this little baby. you won't be disappointed..
