2nd, this thing is great. Cleared the line quickly and effectively. This is a must have tool. Be smart, read the instructions watch a vid or two online to secure your knowledge of how to use correctly. Do what they say and you will save yourself a lot of cash and time.

Reese: The speed of delivery was fantastic, the product arrived three hours after I placed my order.
It seems to be of good quality and I was able to clear my sewer line in about 1/10 the time it normally takes using a hand held manual auger. I’ve been cleaning out this line for years due to a large tree growing over my sewer line so I’m very familiar with the time it takes to cut through those fibrous roots. I eventually need to 187 the tree, but that’s about two grand.
Out of curiosity I had Rotor Rooter come out to price the job and they quoted me $585 to auger 12 feet of sewer line?
Based on Rotor Rooters price quote it has already paid for itself six times. Primarily the ease and convenience of use is unsurpassed. I’ve should brought one about ten years ago.

Dezcom: For years I have used the hand crank version of this type of tool and my arm and shoulder told me to stop. Now that I am 80, I had to move on. For what it costs to have a plumber do it is too expensive for me. The POPULO Electric Drain Auger seemed like it was worth a try. It is not magic and it takes a bit of getting used to the interface but it does the job.

Arches: Partiamo da quello che mi è arrivato.
Nella confezione c'è il corpo della macchina, una batteria 18V, un caricabatteria ed un paio di guanti.
Ho sempre avuto problemi allo scarico della cucina per via della poca pendenza. Lo scarico raccoglie anche l'acqua della lavatrice e so bene, per via degli interventi fatti da un idraulico ben attrezzato, che gli accumuli di calcare e sapone sono frequenti ed importanti.
Ho perso 3 minuti a capire il funzionamento della macchina (credetemi non sono un grande esperto!), davvero molto semplice ed intuitivo: rotazione oraria/antioraria e marcia di avanzamento/freno/ritorno.
La testa della sonda è abbastanza sottile da entrare nelle tubazioni di scarico di diametro anche più sottile. Il movimento in avanzamento della sonda produce un andamento circolare che pulisce le pareti della tubazione. Le plastiche sembrano abbastanza robuste. Il peso supera i 3 kg, ma non può essere diversamente visto il peso della sonda. A volte, durante l'avanzamento, la sonda metallica produce rumori "strani" che, credo siano dovuti all'avvolgimento della stessa, niente di grave, tutto va liscio come deve.
