They are brilliant if you feel in the mood for painting, but don’t want to get all the paraphernalia out.
The refillable water brush pens unusually unscrew clockwise - although this is stated in the instructions, if you don’t read them 🙃 it’s worth a mention here.

Dave Young: Nice looking pens but probably too good for an 8 year old but they seem to be all the rage at the moment. As the items took so long to arrive, with Amazon not very helpful they have been passed to my Neice who has now gone home so I cannot comment further.
