Jeff K.: The material is super thick, rugged, and durable. The anchoring straps are designed for back of the car baskets and it does and exceptional job to create a waterproof box. Drove it through a tropical storm and it held up like a champions. The attention to detail on the seams, and the double flap cover to keep water away from the YKK zippers really outdid themselves for this price point.

sonogirl2001sonogirl2001: The material is thick, well made. It is definitely waterproof and though it comes with its own tie downs for piece of mind I added two of my own ratchet ties. We traveled from Nashville area to Savannah and back and had luggage for 4 plus dog food / container for our two Great Danes in there and it went beyond well! I also used 303 prior to departure to give that vinyl cover a bit longer life.

Jim O.Jim O.: Previously gave a 5 star rating, now since purchasing 2 years ago the closures are coming off. Have used multiple times and been very happy with what it provides when hauling additional bulky items in the cargo carrier on our RV. The unit is stored out of the weather when not in use so it will perform for years. After 1st use in late spring, the velcro flap closures have started detaching from the bag. It appears the will all eventually come off from use. Requested info on adhesive to use to reattach or new velcro. Have not heard back from the seller. Concerned about using the right adhesive product for the material since the description does not have that info. Wrong adhesive used may cause damage to the bag material itself.

Terry DTerry D: This cargo bag allowed me to load a lot of smaller items and keep them safely out of the weather - speaking of weather: We left Texas on a 1200 mile trip to Ohio and the first half ( day 1) was made in rain varying from heavy downpour to heavy mist. No moisture got in! It the photo you can see I secured the carrier on top of coolers using its own anchor straps (they work well for this). I then used the Cargo Net to be absolutely sure the load was secured.
I was very satisified with the quality for the price and the performance!
I do agree that an internal frame would be useful for holding shape for loading but keep in mind I needed to cinch this down and a lightweight frame mike not have withstood this. Had the carrier been down in the hitch carrier the carrier bag straps and an internal frame would have been perfectly fine.

Several things in the Pic - Gen-Y hitch, Pak-Mule Cargo Carrier, Gorilla Cargo Net (7'x8'), Aftermarket lights I installed - for safety.
