Peter Marshall: Whoever gave these 5 stars you must know nothing about boxing. The padding is shocking. 16oz more like 10oz. It feels like a piece of cardboard inside I'm punching with. Time to find something else. 3 layers of gel padding my backside. My hand is now injured.

Josue NavaJosue Nava: First impressions when receiving the box it was light I started to question if it was the right oz Amazon sent but once opening box and seeing the gloves it was the correct oz and so I tested the gloves and WOW and I mean WOW how impressed I was with how light the gloves felt but also feeling the pad which felt heavier in a light weight sense plus such a more comfortable fit for my wrist didn’t feel no uncomfortableness

I can tell you this the fit on my wrist and the comfortableness of the glove itself, plus the padding on these gloves feel much more heavier then the Everlast gloves I bought at Big 5 for $34.99 plus tax, with these gloves I do much better throwing jabs and hooks and punching the bag

Ik what I’m telling y’all just look into these gloves don’t go around throwing your money away for a pair of gloves with a brand name on it that won’t give you the results you need this is my opinion and impressions with these gloves thanks for reading have a good day/night

W3: The gloves are beautiful. I got the red white and blue one and it looks very patriotic.

The materials feel heavy duty, not like some flimsy cheap plastic vinyl gloves that I've seen in this price range.

They can use a little QC on the packaging though. The picture of the gloves on the box had a lot of information on the features and one item was printed upside down. Not a big deal but just one of those things that stick out when you're reading through the features.

I've already used it in 1 training session and the gloves worked perfectly. The velcro straps were easy to fasten.

Of course, the true test of durability will have to wait but for light training and sparring, I don't see why these wouldn't hold up.

javiachanjaviachan: I debated if I should get these since they are so cheap. After reading all the reviews, I got nothing to lose as I can return them if they don't work, needless to say I just filed the return. I bought them for my youngest 11 yo son and he had a hard time fastening the velcro strap on his own. I tired and it wasn't easy as you'd see in the pictures.
I kickbox at a kickboxing studio 5 times a week, also at our karate school (dojo) 2/3 times a week, right I kickbox everyday. With the pandemic we are in... I bought a heavy bag in the garage so we can all use. My three kids are all high ranks in karate and I have got gloves from Century, and they held up great. My pair is at least 3 years old with heavy use.
The gloves in see in pictures used for comparison are all from Century, black 12 oz., blue 16 oz.
Pro:
-the hands fit nicely inside and I got a good grip
-came in a nice carrying bag. But don't store them in a bag after use. You need to buy deodorizer to draw out moisture

Con:
-not enough vents. No vents for the thumbs or fingers, only palms. The smell will ruin them even if they hold up
-no wrist support (can seriously hurt yourself) and the fit is just...

Nonalie: Originally, I purchased these gloves for their affordability as a spare set to leave in my car after missing a gym session due to forgetting my bag. Last night I met with my trainer and used them for the first time. Breaking them in was incredibly easy and I had zero discomfort during or after my workout!

I am incredibly pleased with the comfort these gloves provide. They are easy to get on and off as I transition from bag work to other exercises, and are pliable enough to not be stiff and uncomfortable, while still providing the support and cushion I need. While I bought these to be my backup gloves, I'm not entirely convinced they may not become my primary pair!
