Donna J Williams: It would be so much easier to give this product a 5-star rating if the folks who sell it would have put a tiny bit more money into the user's guide. It is truly tiny print. Have a really good magnifying glass on hand before you buy this navigation system. The screen size is good, the typeface on the screen if good, but the quality and size of the type make it almost impossible to learn how to program the device. There are no illustrations either and if there were, it would not help. Sorry guys, but trying to figure this thing out without being able to refer to the User Guide is too big a downfall to be able to give this one a satisfactory rating. I am still trying, but when the magnification is high enough, the words just get blurry. And I have 20-20 vision.

C. A. Schaller: First, I should say that this is replacing a 12 year old Tom Tom that is no longer supported, so anything is better than that! I was skeptical of buying a no-name brand, but for the price decided to give it a try. I am still learning where to find everything on the unit. I had an awful time finding the volume control (which is low even when turned up) and where to reset the clock. It does come with a printed instruction manual, but sometimes it is confusing and is printed in tiny, tiny letters (literally had to use a magnifying glass, so figure everything out before you get in the car!). Things I like: shows the speed limit and lets you know when you are 5+mph over; shows miles to go, arrival time; map is easy to visualize. Things I don't like: I miss having the mph show on the GPS; the large screen seems cluttered and much of the writing is too small to see; the bracket with suction cup does not adhere to my dash-so I use a nav mat, but the bracket isn't quite tall enough to clear the edges of the nav mat; putting in the address is tedious having to go through state, zip, town, street, then #. If the unit gets turned off (ie at a rest stop), you have to start over again. Best bet...
