Confidently: The only thing that was decently alright about this piece of crap laptop was the touch screen. Even though it was very glitchy and would not actually touch where my finger went, it was smooth when it wanted to be. When you fold the laptop into a tablet, the laptop does not retract the keyboard, therefore, if I were to have it more than the 4 days and the 1 month I had it, the keyboard would need to be replaced every 3 or so months. The battery life was absolutely atrocious. On full battery, it MAYBE lasted 2 hours. My 10 year old Macbook Pro battery lasts atleast twice as long as that. Then comes the reason for why I not only returned it once, but twice. It worked pretty well the first day, other than the battery life, but the first time I had it, I was watching Netflix, the video froze, a loud buzzing-like siren-sounding abnoxious noise blasted through the very loud speakers and I had no way of even turning the worthless junk off. The second time I bought it, hoping that the first one was just a dud, was stolen by the FedEx driver, so he was probably surprised to find a piece of crap, overpriced laptop when he opened it. The third one I ordered, just trying to...

matt: I had a few key features I was looking for when purchasing this computer.
1) USB-C PD... I spend lots of time in remote areas and wanted a computer I could charge from 12v without running an inverter. I picked up a $20 63w (45w PD) charger and it works great.

2) 8gb of ram, 256gb drive. With the AMD chip I was able to get that with the aluminum build and all the fancy features of the 7000 series. The same specs with intel would have given me a i3 without the other stuff.

The batter life is not great until you remember that you have a powerful processor and a bright screen. If you want to get better battery set the computer to power savings, and turn down the screen, almost gets 6 hours then.

The SD card slot is full depth, so you don't need to get an expensive micro sd adapter like you would in other systems. RAM is upgradable, $60 to put another 8gb in... haven't done that yet, but it is a nice option as well as the hard drive, looks like you can put a 2 tb in.

Cheap, powerful, long battery life... pick 2.

J. Serrano: This laptop replaced my eight year old 17" Toshiba. I loved that old laptop and thought I would have difficulty with the change. My new Dell Latitude is better than I could have hoped for. The Ryzen 5 cpu coupled with an SSD is so much faster than my old i7 with a standard hard drive. It's very responsive and less than half the weight. I love being able to fold back the keyboard and use it as a touch screen whether I'm following a recipe or watching a video to fix my dryer.
I only wish I had switched sooner.

ScatMan: A great laptop for its price. Great screen, great build quality, very fast etc The only drawback is battery life (about 3 hours for "normal" use) but still, feels like a steal at the price I got it for.

David Wellman: UPDATE (04/2019)
Rating increased form 3 to 4 stars.

As of February 2019, AMD now fully supports Ryzen U with the latest Adrenaline suite. Performance improvements across the board. In the interim, I've experimented with perhaps exceeding the DDR 2400 memory speed constraint, and despite a setting in the DDR4 sub menu under Device Settings (f12 on POST), memory speed does not exceed 1200 Mhz. Still it is worth it under Windows to increase to 16 or even 32 GB as most modern programs will consume as much memory as is available to them. Still, one last experiment before I declare the F12 menu a placebo: there's a setting to change M.2 port from SATA to SATA Express. So, will an NVMe drive work? I actually don't have one, but I do intend to at some point and will report success or failure. Finally, despite descriptions to the contrary, Intel AC 9260 WiFi card works just fine. Much better than the Qualcomm that comes standard.

So,you may be asking, what is keeping this particular experience from the full 5 stars? I have had issues that, on one occasion, necessitated RMA to Dell (main board died). The fan is now getting quite loud and I do experience...
